THE SHACKS
The Shacks at Austin Ranch is a vibrant, dog-friendly outdoor dining and entertainment destination located in The Colony, Texas. Situated within the Austin Ranch community, The Shacks features a curated mix of local restaurant concepts centered around a unique communal setting, anchored by Truck Yard-style dining and the popular Dog Park at The Shacks, an off-leash dog park and social hub.
Designed to bring together community, food, and entertainment, The Shacks offers a laid-back, family-friendly atmosphere with ample patio space, live music, and regular events. Visitors can enjoy diverse culinary offerings ranging from casual bites to specialty cuisine, all in a walkable, open-air environment.
The venue serves as a premier gathering place for residents, visitors, and pet lovers alike—supporting local businesses while fostering connection through shared experiences.
PAMPERED POOCH EVENTS
Our co host, Pampered Pooch Events, brings a critical layer to race day: dog wellness and comfort. Led by Rachel, PPE will host The Chill and Treat Lounge, a dedicated space designed for dogs to cool down, recharge, and enjoy a treat in a comfortable environment.
This experience will include:
Barktail Bar featuring hydration and recovery drinks for dogs
Pawfait Bar where guests can build a custom cool treat for their dog
Shaded lounge area for rest and decompression
Cooling pools for dogs who enjoy water and need a break
This space ensures the event is not only safe, but thoughtfully designed with each dog’s wellbeing at the center.
